  Company History:
There aren’t too many builders in the Puyallup Valley who can claim they’ve been in business since the early–60s, but that’s exactly what Pete Naccarato, President of Northwest Heritage Group, can claim. Things have really changed since then, too. A typical lot cost $1,300 and building and health permits were $5 each (and they took just 15 minutes to issue!). In Pete’s first 6-lot development in Edgewood, Washington, he even performed his own surveying and engineering. Yes, things have definitely changed!

But just as many things – crafting homes that have quality, livability, and lasting value and designing neighborhoods you actually want to live in – have stayed the same.

Pete Naccarato and his companies have built over 2,000 homes – let us build your next home!

 Sky Island Details:
Seattle   Location
Broadly referred to as the Seattle-Tacoma or Puget Sound area, Sky Island is located in Pierce County, Washington, south of Seattle (approx' 34 miles, estimated drive time approx' 36 minutes, high volume commute times could be longer) and southeast of Tacoma. TacomaPerched above the Puyallup and Orting valleys in the Sumner/Bonney Lake area of Pierce County, Washington, this community boasts some of the most breathtaking views in all of the Pacific Northwest. In addition, nearby major freeways (I-5, SR 167, SR 512, and Hwy 410) offer easy access to wherever you need to travel.

View communities of this nature are often a far drive from everywhere else you need to be on a daily basis – not so with Sky Island. Not only is Bonney Lake the first community you come to on Hwy 410 leaving Sumner and the valley, Sky Island’s entrance is the second light you reach. Obviously, that means your commute is miles and minutes shorter than all the other addresses in Sumner/Bonney Lake area and beyond.
Going Home!
(Caution: When you arrive at the top of this hill on a non-cloudy day, you may be left breathless by the view of Mount Rainier that greets you. Some have described it as “like you’re driving into a piece of artwork” but even that falls short. So if cars behind you are honking, turn right onto 184th Avenue East and enter Sky Island!)

   Phases/Divisions
Over 300 of the planned 454 homes have already been built and purchased over the last 12 years. Views of Mount Rainier and the Cascades were a major highlight in Divisions 3 and 4; panoramic vistas of the Puyallup Valley, the Olympics, all the way to the waterways of Tacoma, and quite often the tops of the clouds themselves grace our current divisions! Obviously, not everyone can afford a home on a premium lot with a view 24/7, but everyone can and does benefit from the views while simply arriving or leaving home.

   Community Amenities
Once you do arrive home, Sky Island is an excellent neighborhood for healthy living. Whether you Walking Trailsprefer walking on rugged trails or running on1 cement sidewalks, Sky Island offers both. Many miles of invigorating views await you, no matter which version you choose. Walk to the 1 acre community park and play to your heart’s content!

If you’re a fan of public transportation, it doesn’t get much better than Sky Island. Right at the community’s entrance sits the beautiful Bonney Lake Park & Ride, part of Pierce Transit’s thriving system. Want to take the train to work? Easy! You can catch the Sounder Commuter train just minutes away in Sumner.
